Here you can download any of my writings and have a look at the art projects I’m involved in. I’m a Senior Lecturer in Art History/Visual Culture in the Department of Visual Cultures, Goldsmiths College, University of London, where I am course convenor for the MA in Contemporary Art Theory.

research interests

These constellate around Guattari’s notion of ‘the production of subjectivity’. I teach an MA class on this, drawing in the work of Spinoza, Bergson, the late Foucault and late Lacan, Negri, Badiou – and the writings of Deleuze and Guattari amongst others.

Hopefully this work will end in a new monograph in a year or so. Before this I worked pretty much exclusively on Deleuze and art, resulting in my first monograph.

Otherwise I continue to teach and write on various contemporary art practices and on art theory in general – and have a collaborative art practice myself, with David Burrows, under the name Plastique Fantastique.
